We’re expanding Qlango into West Africa.
We’ve added Yoruba and Igbo — two major languages of Nigeria and languages spoken by tens of millions of people worldwide.
These are not niche additions. They are languages of identity, family, music, literature, business, and global diaspora communities across Europe, the UK, and the United States.
Why we added them
Because global language learning should not revolve around only the same 10 European languages.
Yoruba and Igbo represent vibrant cultures with strong transnational communities. Many second-generation learners want to reconnect with their heritage. Others want to build cultural or professional bridges.
Adding them aligns with Qlango’s mission:
Language learning from your native language, structured progression, and real communication from day one.
Why you should start learning
-
Connect with family and heritage
-
Strengthen cultural identity
-
Communicate during travel or relocation
-
Build professional or community relationships
-
Access music, film, and local media more deeply
-
Be part of preserving and valuing major African languages
Why learn them on Qlango
Because Qlango isn’t based on passive recognition.
You actively produce the language from the start.
You progress through CEFR-aligned levels.
You learn through real-life topics.
You build usable communication skills — not just word recognition.
Yoruba and Igbo deserve structured, serious learning tools.
Now they’re here.
