These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Qlango mobile application, website (www.qlango.com), and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Qlango d.o.o. (“Qlango”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.

If you are under this age, you may only use the Service with parental or legal guardian consent.

2. ACCOUNT

To use certain features, you may need to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. USE OF THE SERVICE

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the app
  • Interfere with the Service or servers
  • Abuse or exploit bugs or unintended features

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access if misuse is detected.

4. PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

4.1 In-app purchases

Qlango offers:

  • Subscriptions (monthly, yearly, etc.)
  • One-time purchases

All purchases are handled via:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play
  • Other authorized platforms

4.2 Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You can cancel at any time via your app store account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period
  • No refunds are provided for unused time, unless required by law

4.3 Pricing

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time.
Changes will not affect existing active subscriptions until renewal.

5. ADVERTISING

The Service may display advertisements, including:

  • Rewarded ads (optional)
  • Interstitial ads

You agree that:

  • Ads are part of the free version of the Service
  • Paid subscriptions may remove or reduce ads

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content in the Service, including:

  • Text, lessons, translations
  • Design, graphics, audio
  • Software and code

is owned by Qlango d.o.o. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute content
  • Use content for commercial purposes

without prior written permission.

7. USER CONTENT

If you submit content (e.g., messages, feedback), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it for:

  • Improving the Service
  • Providing features

You remain responsible for your content.

8. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • We are required to do so by law
  • The Service is discontinued

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ends
  • Some data may be retained as required by law

9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We do not guarantee:

  • That the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • That content is always accurate or complete
  • That results from learning will meet expectations

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qlango shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business
  • Issues caused by third-party services

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (e.g., Google, Apple, Firebase).

We are not responsible for:

  • Their content
  • Their privacy practices
  • Their availability

12. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE

We may:

  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Add or remove functionality

at any time without liability.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we will:

  • Provide notice (e.g., in-app or website)
  • Update the “Last updated” date

Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Slovenian courts.

15. LANGUAGE

These Terms may be translated into other languages.

In case of conflict, the Slovenian version prevails.
