What is "Lesson Selection" good for?
We recommend that all users utilize the recommended lessons, as it eliminates the need to decide which lesson to undertake next, its difficulty level, and timing. However, there are still users who prefer to manually select lessons and difficulty levels. This option is available when you tap on a theme and access the Lesson Selection feature. Here, we display the total number of lessons available (by scrolling from the last to the first lesson). We guide you to the lesson we recommend for your current session. If all lessons are marked as completed (indicated by blue or green colors), we advise against starting any new lessons. In such cases, the ‘Start’ button is grayed out. If you still choose to tap on it, we inform you that we do not recommend repeating the lesson. Why? Because repeating a lesson before it becomes outdated does not contribute to the spaced repetition system. Lessons become outdated after 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, or 32 days following the previous repetition. Attempting to progress from difficulty level 1 to 5 within the same day may prove too challenging for some users. Upon accessing the lesson selection, we preset the difficulty level for you, but you have the flexibility to adjust it according to your preference. If you find the difficulties too easy, we suggest accessing the Difficulty Settings to customize them to your requirements. Some users prefer dictation exercises as they face challenges with comprehension and writing. Others, like myself, believe that writing translations repeatedly is the most effective learning method. You have the option to review the lesson contents and explore all examples using Flashcards. We aim to provide features that cater to your individual learning needs.
