How does "Wordle+" work?
At the beginning, you have to select the course in which you want to play this game. Then you have to select the level (A1, A2, B1, B2, etc.) in Theme Selection. When you tap on ‘Wordle,’ we ask you in which language you want to guess words: in your source language or in your destination language. If you know your destination language at the selected level, we recommend you guess the words in your target language. If you don’t know your target language very well, we recommend you guess the words in your source language. When you make the selection, the words at the selected level get loaded and the game begins.
We pronounce the word in the other language from the one you selected and show you the word. We also show you an instruction that tells you what kind of word we’re searching for (a noun, a verb, an adjective, an adverb, etc.) and provide additional instructions if needed. If you don’t know the answer, you can type any letters you want (unlike the original Wordle). Then tap on ‘Check’ and we’ll show you which letters aren’t part of the answer (colored dark grey), which letters are part of the answer but in the wrong position (colored yellow), and which letters are part of the answer and in the correct position (colored green). In the next line, you can use a new set of letters and try to find the correct answer until you have all the letters correct.
If you don’t know the answer, you can tap on the ‘Show Keys’ button and we’ll hide all the letters from the keyboard that aren’t part of the answer. If you tap on ‘Hint,’ we will show you the next correct letter. If you think you won’t find the correct word, you can tap on ‘Give Up’ and you’ll get the next word for guessing.
There are several hundred words for guessing. You’ll have to guess all non-guessed words or words where you needed our help to guess again after you have tried to guess all words. In every subsequent round, you’ll get only the words you haven’t guessed until you guess all the words without our help.
This game is very useful if you want to repeat a level of a language you already know a little.
