All my progress is gone. What can I do?
Exit the app and log in with the credentials you initially used to enter the app. You can most probably log in with the username we provided when you first entered our app (if you haven’t changed it) and the password we provided (we asked you to take a screenshot, search for it, and there is the data you need). If you have changed your username in the meantime, enter your new username in the username field when logging in and the password we provided. If you have changed it, use the updated credentials. If you don’t know them, contact our support and provide us with the username we initially gave you so we can assist you.
If you still don’t see your progress, perhaps you entered another course or you entered the correct course, but you selected a different level of learning (such as A2 instead of A1 or similar) or you selected learning ‘Words with Examples’, but you were previously learning only ‘Words’. Try switching between these options to locate your progress.
How do I enter the app without registering?
Just tap on ‘Enter without registering’. You’ll receive a username and password from us. We will ask you to take a screenshot or write them down so you can log in again if you get logged out or want to access the app on another device. We advise you to provide at least an email address in Account Settings because otherwise, it will be difficult to regain access to the app if you forget your password. Alternatively, remember or write down the User ID so we can assist you later.
How do I log into the web app using my Apple account?
You can’t. Log in with your username and password. If you initially entered Qlango using your Apple ID, go to Account Settings and review your username. Enter your email, and we will send you a new password to your email address. You can also change your password from nothing (your old password is empty) to your desired password.
How do I register?
You can register on the ‘Login Screen’ by tapping on the ‘Registration’ label. Alternatively, you can connect your Qlango account to your Apple ID or Google Account in ‘Account Settings’, or you can enter your email address in ‘Account Settings’. For more information, take a look at the ‘Account Settings’ section of the FAQ.
I am sure I entered the correct username and password, but I still can't log in because the app is telling me that my credentials are wrong.
In some older versions, we had a bug, and the only solution was to clear the cache and data and restart the app. If you don’t know how to do that, contact our support. All channels are listed on our home page at the bottom: https://shop.qlango.com.
I can't login
Please check if you can access the site: https://server.qlango.com.
If not, it’s possible that your internet provider has blocked access, or there may be an issue with your IP address. Please inform us about this, as it may be related to malicious activities by hackers. Otherwise, you can use our app by turning on a VPN connection.
What should I do if my login screen is in a language I don't understand or can't even read?
Tap on the first field below the Qlango Logo and search for the language you know well. All languages are written in two languages. Above is the name of the language in its native language, and below is the name of the language in the language you have set in Qlango. Languages are sorted by the original name of the language, so languages that use the Latin alphabet are at the beginning, followed by all other languages.
Why is my password visible on the login screen?
The last used username and password are visible on your login screen. The password is encrypted in our database and decrypted only on your device.
Why is everything in English?
If everything is in English, tap on the button labeled ‘I speak British English’ and select the language you want. We support some languages that aren’t supported by Apple or Google, so we suggest selecting them if one of them is your native language. After selecting the language, the screen will refresh and display all fields on the screen in the selected language.
Why should I register?
In case you forget your Username, you can still enter with your Apple ID, Google Account, or email address and the password. If you forgot your password, you can tap on the text ‘I forgot my password’ on the Login Screen or in Account settings, and we will send you a new password. If we don’t have your email address, we can’t do that. If you connected your Qlango account with Apple ID or Google Account, we also don’t have your email address, but you won’t need it as long as you enter the app with the same ID or Account, respectively.
